TV series 'Swords into Plowshares' wins big at Shanghai TV Festival

　　The 31st Shanghai TV Festival Magnolia Awards ceremony was held on June 26, 2026, honoring outstanding achievements in television production.

　　This year's competition attracted more than 1,000 entries from 60 countries and regions across five continents, highlighting the festival's growing international influence and reach.

　　At the ceremony, Swords into Plowshares emerged as one of the night's biggest winners, taking home Best TV Series (China), the International Communication Award (TV Drama), and Best Original Screenplay. Actor Dong Yong was also awarded Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the series.

　　In the acting categories, Yu Hewei won Best Leading Actor for Silent Honor, while Yang Zi received Best Leading Actress for Born to be Alive.

　　The Magnolia Awards also recognized a range of international productions and cross-genre works, underscoring the diversity of contemporary television.

　　First established in 1986, the Shanghai TV Festival has since grown into one of Asia's most prestigious international television events.
