Exhibition on Chinese New Year opens in Beijing

Focused on the theme of Chinese New Year, an exhibition bringing together more than 150 artifacts from the Tsinghua University Art Museum's collection has opened in Beijing.

By fostering a deep dialogue between the art history of artifacts and the cultural perspectives of daily folk life, the "Rituals and Radiance of Nian" exhibition offers a comprehensive exploration of Chinese New Year traditions, ethical sentiments, and artistic expressions. It also sheds light on the cultural context behind the Year of the Horse — the Chinese zodiac animal for 2026.
