CMG's annual special for new school year commemorates war heroes

　　The 2025 "First Lesson of the School Year," a large-scale public service program, aired on Monday by China Media Group (CMG). This year's program commemorated the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

　　Centered around the theme of "remembering and striving," the program aims to educate and motivate young people by bringing wartime stories to life through digital scenarios and immersive storytelling. It encourages them to honor history, remember martyrs, and work toward the future. The program featured compelling stories and historical accounts, including appearances by war heroes sharing their combat experiences. It also utilized AI image restoration to turn historical photos of youth resistance groups into vivid, colorful, dynamic images.
