China National Film Museum presents the history, development and achievements of Chinese film industry

   As the world's largest national-level professional film museum, the China National Film Museum embodies the hope and vitality of the Chinese film industry.

  Established to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Chinese cinema, the museum features 21 exhibition halls covering themes such as film history, art, and technology. Its collection boasts more than 30,000 items, including scripts, costumes, props and other artifacts – many of which are national first-class relics.

  The first floor hosts the Chinese Film Art Achievement Exhibition, highlighting the industry's milestones over the past two decades. Floors two through four chronicle the century-long journey of Chinese cinema since the creation of China's first film, "Dingjun Mountain." These exhibits vividly illustrate the industry's technological breakthroughs, artistic exploration and cultural legacy, making the museum a key destination for understanding Chinese cinema's brilliance.

  In recent years, the museum has enriched public life with diverse events, including New Year film concerts and interactive film technology experiences. In 2025, it will launch a special program celebrating the 120th anniversary of Chinese cinema, further cementing its role as a dynamic hub for film culture.
