Works of art and crafts are jewels deriving from harmonious collaboration between fingers and brain, embodying beliefs, traditions formed overtime and wisdom of human beings to utilize the resources of nature.

There are works carrying on handicraft traditions throughout centuries, such as lacquer painting, jade carving and wood furniture inlaid with ornaments. Also, there are emerging crafts to integrate old crafts with modern materials and designs to especially attract the younger generations.
The exhibition, jointly presented by China Traditional Culture Museum and Chinese National Academy of Arts, runs through to May.
