GAO Xixi


  Born in Nanchang City of Jiangxi Province in 1962 and graduated from Director Department of Beijing Film Academy, GAO Xixi is currently a director of film and TV drama and member of the Presidium of CFLAC (2016). 
  GAO Xixi took up his virgin TV drama Days of Merchants in 1994 and in 1997 his TV drama Pride in the Sky won the 1st Prize of TV Drama of the 3rd National Vocational TV Program of China. In 2000, his film Heart of Justice and TV film Great Sandstorm respectively won Jury Award of the 7th China Film Huabiao Awards (CFHA) and Excellent TV Film Award of the 8th CFHA. In 2002, his TV drama Hero in History won the 1st Prize of Lengthy TV Drama of the 25th Flying Aspara Awards and the Excellent Lengthy TV Drama of the 23rd China TV Golden Eagle Awards. In 2010, his TV epic Romance of the Three Kingdoms won the Grand Prize of the 6th Seoul International TV Festival and Overseas Production Special Prize of the 5th Tokyo International TV Festival.
