FENG Gong

Born in Tianjin in 1957 and graduated from Literature School of Central China Normal University, FENG Gong is an artist of Chinese Crosstalk as well as a State-class A actor. Currently he is head of China Radio Art Troupe, vice president of CFLAC (2016) and vice president of China Quyi Artists Association (CQAA, 2002). 

Formally becoming a pupil to the Chinese crosstalk master MA Ji in 1973, FENG Gong has been involved in creation and performance of Chinese crosstalk. He joined the China Railway Art Troupe in 1980 and China Radio Art Troupe in 1984. From 1986 on, FENG Gong has presented a series of classic crosstalk pieces such as Quarrel among the Five Sense Organs in the Head, Blame for Perfection and Company of Ideas on Spring Festival Gala of China Central Television (CCTV), which has set a record of consecutive occurrence of over 30 years at this national plkatform. 

As an actor in films, FENG Gong has won the Best Supporting Actor Award of the 16th Popular Cinema Hundred Flowers Awards, candidate for Best Actor Award of the 17th China Film Golden Rooster Awards (CFGRA) and the Best Actor Award of the 18th CFGRA.
