LI Xuejian

Born in Heze City of Shandong Province in 1954, LI Xuejiang is a State Class-A actor, vice president of CFLAC (2011) and president of China Film Association (2013). 

LI Xuejian was admitted into Art Troupe of Air Force of China in 1977 and then into Central Experimental Drama Theatre in 1978. In 1980, he won Plum Blossom Awardthe supreme China Theatre Award with his role of LIN Biao in the drama September 13th Incident. In 1990, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award of both Flying Aspara Award and the 9th China Film Golden Eagle Awards with his TV play Thirst for Happiness and with his film JIAO Yulu, won the Best Actor Award of both the 11th China Film Golden Rooster Awards and the 14th Popular Cinema Hundred Flowers Awards. In 2011, he won the Excellent Actor Award of the 14th China Film Huabiao Awards with his film YANG Shanzhou. In 2012, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award of the 50th Taiwan Film Golden Horse Awards with the film 1942 and in 2016 he won the Best Acting Award of the 28th China TV Golden Eagle Awards with his two TV plays Hey, Old Man and Young Marshall.
