Under the Same Moon: China's music comes to Canada

This Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese music filled the concert hall in Toronto as the China National Symphony Orchestra brought its 70th-anniversary tour to Canada. From Holberg Suite to Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon, the program brought together Western classics and Chinese melodies. In Harmony, China's Jasmine Flower met Canada's Red River Valley in one piece, bringing two musical traditions together under the same moon. After performances in Toronto and Ottawa, the tour concluded in Montreal on Sept 29.
