The Beijing Museum Season officially opened on May 18 and will run through October 8, highlighting the city's cultural heritage and consumption. The season aims to create a multi-dimensional space combining cultural experiences, consumption scenarios, and interactive activities. Districts across the city will also launch Beijing Museum markets to foster a vibrant atmosphere of cultural and creative consumption.
"Meet the Ocean: An Immersive Fantasy Exhibition" premiered at Meet Museum · Beijing 798 Space recently. Centered on the "origin and continuation of life," the exhibition merges spatial art, digital projection technology and ecological knowledge into a multidimensional journey connecting primordial pasts, speculative futures, land and sea.
Supported by the China Arts and Entertainment Group, with WildAid as a non-profit partner, the exhibition fuses immersive experiences with scientific rigor and artistic expression, guiding audiences to explore marine realms and contemplate the bonds between life, nature and tomorrow.

Tan Ziqiang, deputy general manager of the China Performing Arts Agency, said that timed with the summer break, this exhibition offers young people both education and entertainment, and is a catalyst for public marine literacy. "We aim to inspire collective action for our blue home," he added.
This is the inaugural edition of Beijing Museum Season. Each month features a dedicated theme: Exhibition Month in May, Science Month in June, Cultural Creativity Month in July, Study Tour Month in August and Education Month in September. These events aim to bring high-quality museum resources directly to residents and visitors.
