In the south of Jiangsu Province in East China lies Wuxi, a city known as a fertile land of fish and rice since ancient times. It is also known as the Pearl of Taihu Lake and is home to some of China’s earliest local and rural industries. This video shows Wuxi’s development and prosperity, the landscape of the ancient town, as well as its folk crafts, intelligent industries, film and television programs, specialty cuisine, and tourism industry.
